This ASUS G73SW-XA1 Has a subwoofer. The Sound quality is quite good - not tinny and carries some 'body' well. The screen is extremely glossy so be aware that there is gonna be a lot of glare. The cooling system is also another excellent feature, silent and very efficient keeping it cool even when running apps at 100% the only thing I`m missing is the blu-ray unit but it is not a big deal.
Otherwise, the system is as described. Fast and powerful. The ASUS G73SW-XA1 does come with d-sub VGA ports, and HDMI port. No DVI, so you'll need a HDMI-DVI adapter if your monitor only has DVI. Note: At some point the keyboard lights will not turn on for you. If pressing Fn+F4 does nothing, you will need to download the ATK driver from ASUS and do Repair>Restart TWICE. After that they will function again.
Overall this ASUS G73SW-XA1 a solid laptop with screaming performance from a great company. This laptop has everything a gamer wants: An impressive CPU, lots of RAM, a powerful GPU, enough storage space and a huge FULL HD screen.
